“Cornerstone of Naval Healthcare at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point” Retires After More Than Four Decades of Service
MCAS Cherry Point — A civilian employee serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point retired in February 2024 after more than four decades of service to Marines and Sailors assigned to the installation and beneficiaries living in the surrounding communities.

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — United States Navy Lieutenant Commander Mashiana Sutton has been named Navy Medicine’s Senior Financial Management Officer of the Year for 2023. Sutton currently serves at the director for resource management at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Lejeune at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune.

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Eight new physician assistants will soon arrive at their next duty station ready to provide care for Marines and Sailors. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune graduated its third class from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) on Mar. 1, 2024, during a commencement ceremony at Marston Pavilion on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Cherry Point Clinic Staff Train for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors and Civilians serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point trained to earn their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt aboard the facility in early February 2024. Staff underwent the training to prepare themselves to serve as “change-agents” and lead process improvement projects aboard the clinic by applying disciplined, data-driven approaches.
