Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

He was presented the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during a ceremony Wednesday, October 30 for his service as a Staff Nurse at Naval Hospital Bremerton in Washington state. There, Cramer led a 16-person team delivering care while improving the hospital’s onboarding procedures.

MCAS Cherry Point — Two Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point meritoriously advanced in rank Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

From left to right, Chief Petty Officers Jordan Varney, Tyler Goodrich and Jephray Prejusa advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer during a ceremony Friday, September 27 at Miller’s Landing. Navy Chaplains lead suicide prevention workshops at Camp Lejeune

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — September is recognized nationally as Suicide Prevention Month and Navy Chaplains at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina hosted an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop to train attendees to recognize early warning signs of self-harm/suicidal thoughts and how to intervene.

Navy Commander Sara Quan serves aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point as a Family Medicine Physician and Flight Surgeon. A native of Bradbury, California, she credits her brother and grandfather as inspiration to serve.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, she leads a team responsible for ensuring Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point is a healthy place to live and work.

Hospital Corpsman Second Class Nicholas Turi serves aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point as a Physical Therapy Technician. Turi, a native of Wickliffe, Ohio, won the MCCS Cherry Point Powerlifting Meet on August 7, 2024 with a combined squat, bench press and deadlift weight of 1,585lbs.
