Immunizations
The Osan Immunizations Clinic serves the following patients on a walk-in basis:
- Active duty service members
- Beneficiaries of all ages (family members and retirees)
- Contractors working at the Child Development Center and Child Youth Services
- Children attending Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) schools
- Pregnant patients 27-36 weeks along who need the Tdap vaccine
- Patients who will be employed by the Department of Defense Health Agency
- Patients who need non-age-based vaccines and have a prescription from a licensed provider
- Korean Guidance System (KGS) and other government employees who need vaccines for employment
RSV Vaccine Eligibility
- You need a prescription for the RSV vaccine from a licensed provider if you are:
- 60 years old and older
- A pregnant patient 32-36 weeks along
- The pediatric RSV vaccine is not available in the immunization clinic. You must coordinate with the Pediatric Clinic.
Tuberculosis Testing
- If you receive a PPD test, you need to return to the clinic 48-72 hours after placement.
- PPD testing isn’t available on Thursdays or before long holidays or exercises.
- The Immunizations Department can order the T-SPOT blood test. (Go to the laboratory to have your blood drawn.)
Travel Vaccines
- If you’re going on personal travel, you’ll need to complete travel screening with Public Health (Travel Medicine) before getting vaccines.
PCS/Out-processing
- You can complete the Immunization Clearance Memorandum in person or by emailing it to our org box.
- If you need vaccines for your PCS, you must get your vaccines before signing the clearance memorandum.
Records
- If you or your family members received a vaccine from an off-base or non-DOD facility:
- You may update your records by sending an email with a copy of the vaccination record to the Osan Immunization org box.
- The scanned copy of your record must include the patient’s name, date of birth, and vaccines given.
- You can find immunization records on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
