Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point bid a bittersweet Bravo Zulu to Hospital Corpsman Third Class Nathan Zachreus and warmly welcomed Hospital Corpsman Third Class Austin Dugan during a ceremony Friday, April 21, 2023 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Zachreus, left, received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his service aboard the clinic since 2021 and Dugan received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his service aboard NMRTC San Diego.

MCAS Cherry Point — Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point bid a bittersweet Bravo Zulu to Hospital Corpsman Third Class Nathan Zachreus and warmly welcomed Hospital Corpsman Third Class Austin Dugan during a ceremony Friday, April 21, 2023 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point conducted a Summer Dress White inspection Thursday, April 20, 2023 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. The inspection provided an opportunity for Sailors to participate in a Navy tradition, demonstrate attention to detail and celebrate the coming summer season.

Cherry Point Sailors Conduct Summer Dress White Inspection

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point conducted a Summer Dress White inspection Thursday, April 20, 2023 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina.

A participant in Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune's 13th Annual Research Symposium meets with judges to discuss the research behind the poster presentation for their research. This year's symposium featured 73 submissions from NMCCL, 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Dental Battalion, Marine Raider Battalion, Campbell University, Duke University and Cape Fear Valley Health. Research submissions included poster and podium presentations with awards presented in various categories.

More than 70 entries in Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune's 13th Annual Research Symposium

MARINE CORPS CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune hosted the 13th Annual Research Symposium on April 13, 2023. This year’s entries more than doubled the 2022 entry numbers.

Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point celebrated the service and leadership of Chief Hospital Corpsman Adam Elder during a ceremony held Friday, March 30 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. Elder served at the clinic from September 2021 to April 2023 as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the facility’s Directorate of Surgical Services. He led 33 staff in completion of more than 340 surgeries while increasing the team’s capabilities and guided 13 Sailors in the performance of military honors at more than 100 funerals. He received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal from Navy Capt. Elizabeth Adriano, Commander of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point.

Brain Injury Awareness Month: Highlighting the Intrepid Spirit Concussion Recovery Clinic

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — With March as Brain Injury Awareness Month, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune is highlighting the importance of recognizing and receiving proper treatment for brain injuries.

*Training* Hospital Corpsman Second Class Angel Hernandez treats his assigned casualty, a mannequin, while conducting Tactical Combat Casualty Care on March 17 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. The training includes two days of classroom instruction and culminates in a practical exercise involving mannequins equipped to simulate battlefield casualties.

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune graduated the second class of physician assistant students on March 3, 2023. “Class 20-3” passed the second phase of the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, received their diplomas, and commissioned as Navy officers.
