Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point gather for a group photo Tuesday, February 21 after a luncheon held Tuesday, February 21. The luncheon was held to recognize Sailors for their sustained excellence and commitment to their daily duties in the first quarter of 2023. Recognized during the luncheon were: Hospital Apprentice Yuri Martinez Hernandez as Blue Jacket of the Quarter, Hospitalman Third Class Tiarra Myers as Junior Sailor of the Quarter, Hospitalman Second Class Emily Page as Sailor of the Quarter and Hospitalman First Class Garret Fralix as Senior Sailor of the Quarter.

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point celebrated the excellence of their peers during a luncheon held Tuesday, February 21 aboard the base.

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors and civilians serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point honored the life and service of a Sailor who recently passed away.

A hearty BravoZulu to Hospital Corpsman Second Class Natassia Martinez! Martinez served aboard the clinic as Leading Petty Officer, Radiology Department from early 2019 to early 2023. She was recently presented the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her exceptional service and knowledge. We wish her Fair Winds and Following Seas as she departs for the next chapter in her Navy career.

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — There is a new Navy Medicine command positioned aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Navy Captain Darryl P. Arfsten assumed command as the first commanding officer of Expeditionary Medical Facility Kilo on March 1, 2023.

MARINE AIR STATION NEW RIVER, North Carolina — U.S. Navy Commander David Bennett, deputy director for Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Branch Clinics, was recognized for his heroic actions that saved a life.

Petty Officer Second Class Davise Angevine serves as the Work Center Supervisor of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point’s Material Management Department along with a variety of additional duties. He enjoys the leadership role entrusted to him and credits teamwork for his success.

Navy Surgeon General makes inaugural visit to Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River

NAVAL HEALTH CLINIC PATUXENT RIVER, Md. — Surgeon General of the U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Bruce Gillingham visited Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River on Jan. 31 for the first time in the clinic’s history.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s patient shuttle service, which transports patients from the parking lot and Medical Center, recently expanded services to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Navy Reserve, Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Camp Lejeune hosted a Change of Command ceremony on January 20, 2023. Captain Rebecca Zornado relieved Captain Sherma Saif of command. Rear Admiral Eric Peterson, Deputy Command of Naval Forces Atlantic, was the presiding officer for the ceremony.
