Winn Army Community Hospital welcomes new commander

FORT STEWART, Ga. — Col. Jason Seery passed command of the U.S. Army Department Medical Activity and the directorship of Winn Army Community Hospital to Col. Margaret Berryman June 26 at Fort Stewart’s Cottrell Field. The ceremony of full military pomp and circumstance included sound-off and pass-in-review under the midmorning coastal Georgia sun. Berryman comes to Fort Stewart from the Medical Center of Excellence at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, where she served as the Army Nurse Corps Specific Branch Proponent Officer. Seery is moving on to a position at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

NMCCL Sailors train with MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River in extreme weather exercise

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL) and its branch clinics are prepared for the Atlantic Hurricane Season. NMCCL trained with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River aboard both installations during a multi-day weather exercise from June 10-13, 2024.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center hosted its annual Safety Day celebration, Jun. 18 to promote summer safety awareness among staff. The event featured safety experts from various departments providing guidance on preventing injuries from heat, outdoor activities, water recreation, lawn care, and more.
