Cherry Point Clinic Celebrates 56 Years of Keeping the Warfighter in the Fight

MCAS Cherry Point — The first week of July, 2024 Sailors and staff of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point celebrate 56 years of the clinic’s role in the readiness of Marines serving in eastern North Carolina and the wellness of their families and nearby communities.

The 6th MSS laboratory oversees the shipment of more than 200 healthcare diagnostic tests per day. The new Air Force generation model (AFFORGEN) is designed for Airmen to train together and deploy together; services across MacDill AFB have adjusted their capacities to support mission requirements. 3D MAC, Ortho/Prosthetics assist service members, beneficiaries get back into action in and out of uniform

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, BETHESDA, Md. — Ryan Pelzer grew up riding motocross, but a firework accident claimed his right thumb and injured his wrist, hampering his ability to participate in the sport, but not his passion for it.

Winn Army Community Hospital welcomes new commander

FORT STEWART, Ga. — Col. Jason Seery passed command of the U.S. Army Department Medical Activity and the directorship of Winn Army Community Hospital to Col. Margaret Berryman June 26 at Fort Stewart’s Cottrell Field. The ceremony of full military pomp and circumstance included sound-off and pass-in-review under the midmorning coastal Georgia sun. Berryman comes to Fort Stewart from the Medical Center of Excellence at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, where she served as the Army Nurse Corps Specific Branch Proponent Officer. Seery is moving on to a position at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
