WBAMC’s PFPC Annual Report for 2024

WBAMC Fort Bliss, Tx — Patient and Family Partnership Council at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, exists for one reason, and that is to have an open dialogue of healthcare between patients and hospital leadership.

Hospital Corpsman Second Class Rylie Maloney is the first military applicant to receive an Optician’s License from the state of North Carolina after passing the American Board of Opticianry exam in early summer, 2024. Maloney, a native of Soddy Daisy, Texas, serves aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point as the Optometry Leading Petty Officer, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility’s Optometry Clinic serving Active-Duty Marines and Sailors assigned to the base, their families and beneficiaries in the surrounding communities.

Defense Health Agency Director Visits Ireland Army Health Clinic

FORT KNOX, Ky —

U.S. Navy Capt. Juan Rosario recently came onboard as the new chief of staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. "I’ve also witnessed firsthand the dedication and commitment of the WRNMMC staff while my daughter received treatment for cancer in 2018. Serving as the new chief of staff gives me the opportunity to say thank you and to give back to the team that was instrumental in my daughter’s healing and being cancer free today.”

Weed Army Community Hospital Staff Mourn the Loss of Colleague

Fort Irwin, Calif. — Late in the afternoon on Thursday, Weed Army Community Hospital staff responded to a Code Blue. The call came during a period typically reserved for dedicated staff training, revealing a heartbreaking situation. Damien Anthony, a veteran of the Navy and a respected member of the Patient Administration Division, was found unresponsive.
