Meet Tripler’s Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists Team

Tripler Army Medical Center’s team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists is an integral part of the TAMC team, providing anesthesia to patients throughout the hospital. The CRNA team will use Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists Week, Jan. 21-27, as an opportunity to build strong relationships across the organization and to spread awareness of anesthetists. TAMC’s CRNA team consists of 24 members, made up of 15 active duty and nine civilian providers.

CPO Advancement Exam hopes for NMCSD Sailor

The basketball court at Naval Medical Center San Diego’s (NMCSD) gym was converted to a test center as more than 130 first class petty officers were administered the FY 2024 Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Advancement Exam, 18 Jan. You could hear the phones’ murmurs placed to their lowest setting permitted for some, while others depleted their battery as they vibrated.

Operation AGILE Medic, communication is key

During the first week of December 2023, the Air Force, Army and Marines collaborated in Operation AGILE Medic at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas, providing medics with real-world experience in austere environments transporting patients and implementing hands-on Medic-X training. Throughout the joint exercise, medics were faced with unexpected scenarios, where they had to communicate between the Expeditionary Medical Support unit to the En Route Patient Staging System (ERPSS) team to Air Evacuation and, or, Critical Care Air Transport team, and vice versa.
