TRICARE-Authorized Urgent Care Center (UCC) Access!

Patients who use TRICARE Prime, or any other TRICARE plan, may visit any TRICARE-authorized network UCC for urgent care. Active duty personnel are not authorized urgent care clinic visits without a referral. Patients may find more convenience, shorter wait times and improved accessibility when visiting a UCC in the local community for non-emergency illness or injury requiring treatment within 24 hours. Keesler uses post-vaccine waiting period to identify routine care gaps

Adaptation has been a common theme over the past year, especially within the medical community. A perfect example is at Keesler Medical Center on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. During the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's recommended 15-minute waiting period after a COVID-19 vaccines is given, staff here have been talking to patients about making appointments for routine care that may have been missed due to increased focus on the virus.

Fort Rucker awarded 2020 Southeast Tristate Combined Federal Campaign Medium Agency of the Year

Fort Rucker Army Base, Al — Fort Rucker was recognized as the 2020 Southeast Tristate Combined Federal Campaign Medium Agency of the Year. Lyster Army Health Clinic served as the lead agency and coordinator for the campaign this year. LTC Danielle K. Rodondi, Commander, Lyster Army Health Clinic, was the Fort Rucker local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC) Representative.
