NMCCL physician wins Outstanding Young Pediatrician of the year, second consecutive year for NMCCL

NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER CAMP LEJEUNE, NC — One of Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s pediatricians has been recognized as the latest recipient of the American Academy of Pediatrics Uniformed Services – Chapter East Outstanding Young Pediatrician of the Year Award. U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Colleen Lail’s recognition marks the second consecutive year that NMCCL doctor has received the award.

Leadership at Naval Health Cherry Point recognized two staff members Friday, August 27 for their excellent performance and contributions to patient safety while serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Hospitalman Kiya F. Smith a member of the clinic’s Laboratory Staff was presented a certificate and coin from Navy Capt. Elizabeth Adriano, the clinic’s commander.

MCAS Cherry Point — Leadership at Naval Health Cherry Point recognized two staff members Friday, August 27 for their excellent performance and contributions to patient safety while serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

MCAS Cherry Point — Leadership of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point surprised 9 sailors with the news they will advance rank in the month of July.

The Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point color guard parades the national colors during the clinic’s change of command ceremony held Friday, June 4 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. Navy Capt. Elizabeth Adriano assumed command of the clinic, a keystone component of the air station’s medical readiness, during the ceremony.

The display honoring the courage and sacrifice of Pharmacist’s Mate Second Class William D. Halyburton at Halyburton Medical Clinic on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. Halyburton sacrificed his life to save a comrade May 10, 1945 during the Battle of Okinawa.

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Dr. Britt C. Bayles, a seasoned Navy veteran and pharmacist at Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH) joined the Navy in 1975. Forty five years later, he’s stuck around with one promise to his wife: “We will stay only as long as we are having fun.”
