Teaming with small business to improve technology, save lives on battlefield

New Treatments for Epilepsy: What the Nation's Warriors Need to Know

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, BETHESDA, MD — Epilepsy may be the orphan child of neurological disorders. Even though it affects more people (3.4 million in the U.S.) than multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and cerebral palsy combined, it gets less federal funding per person than any of the others.

EMF Kilo trains with 2nd Medical Battalion enhancing deployable skillsets

Reminder: TRICARE Regions Are Changing Jan. 1, 2025

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — There will be changes to the TRICARE regions in the U.S. on Jan. 1, 2025. While there will still be two TRICARE regions, six states currently in the East Region will move to the West Region. There are also some zip codes in four of these states that will be exceptions to the region changes.

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — The Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Healthcare Simulation and Bioskills Center received provisional accreditation though the Society of Simulation and Healthcare in October 2024. Next, the center will prepare for pursuance of full accreditation in 2025.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — It’s that time of year again—TRICARE Open Season is here. Open season, which began Nov. 11, runs until Dec. 10. During this period, most beneficiaries with TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select can make changes to their health plan for coverage starting Jan. 1, 2025.
