Prescription Refills Now Available Through MHS GENESIS Patient Portal

Tricare beneficiaries can now request prescription refills online from military pharmacies by logging into their MHS Genesis Patient Portal. You can now easily refill your prescriptions by selecting the “Rx Refills” tab in the upper right panel on the portal’s homepage.

Walter Reed physician earns the 2023 Award for the Advancement of Women Physicians in Military Medicine

The Navy Chief of Internal Medicine Residents for the National Capital Consortium (NCC) at Walter Reed, Azah recently earned the 2023 Award for the Advancement of Women Physicians in Military Medicine. She received the award during the annual Military Health System Excellence Awards ceremony, which recognizes leaders from across the MHS, during the 2024 annual meeting of the Association of the Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS), the Society of Federal Health Professionals. The meeting was held at National Harbor, Maryland on Feb. 15.

CRDAMC Employee receives DHA Positive Spirit Award

FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Lt. Gen. Telita Crosland, director, Defense Health Agency and Chief Master Sgt. Tanya Johnson, senior enlisted leader, DHA, presented Mitzi Rogers, quality assurance assistant, patient experience division, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, with the DHA Positive Spirit Award in a virtual DHA Employee Recognition Ceremony 11 March. The Positive Spirit Award recognizes employees who improved morale and increased productivity through a positive attitude, embodied a team player mentality, and/or volunteered to assist in work efforts outside of their own.
