For decades, this 10- story building stood as a sentinel, greeting Soldiers and their families as they arrived at the installation. Martin Army Community Hospital Earns ‘A’ Grade in Spring 2025 Leapfrog Safety Report

05012025 — Martin Army Community Hospital (MACH) earned an “A” grade for hospital safety in the Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2025 report, recognizing its commitment to protecting patients from preventable harm and medical errors. The Leapfrog Group is a national, independent organization focused on health care quality. Its grading system uses up to 22 evidence-based patient safety measures to evaluate hospitals on how well they prevent errors, injuries, and infections.

Johnny Rainwater, a radiology specialist assigned to Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists exam on July 2 in Shreveport—earning a nationally recognized credential that supports military medical readiness and aligns with civilian professional standards.

Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point bid Fair Winds and Following Seas to Hospital Corpsman Second Class Salma Moore on Monday, June 30, 2025. From July 2022 to July 2025, Moore served as the Leading Petty Officer for the Patient Administration Department. During her time here, she led 21 personnel in the processing of over 2,000 electronic health record uploads and the maintenance and security of over 6,000 patient records. Moore received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal in recognition of her service to the MCAS Cherry Point community.

Ronn relinquished command to Col. William F. Bimson. The presiding official of the ceremony was Brig. Gen. Deydre Teyhen, commanding general, Medical Readiness Command, Pacific, and director, Defense Health Network Indo-Pacific.
