Camp Lejeune Family Medicine Residency Program graduates 10 residents, 11 interns

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — On June 25, 2021, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Family Medicine Residency Program graduated their 10th class of interns and residents. The graduation took place at Marston Pavilion aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune where 10 residents and 11 interns were able to graduate in front of a live audience, a major change from last year’s strict COVID-19 limitations.

FORT WAINWRIGHT, Alaska — In May, Bassett Army Community Hospital had 463 appointments go unused due to patient no-shows – individuals who miss or are more than 15 minutes late without calling to cancel or reschedule. This number equates to just over 23 appointments each day.

NMCP REMOVES COVID-19 TESTING TENTS

Portsmouth, VA — One of the last vestiges of the efforts implemented at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic was removed from outside of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) Emergency Room – testing tents that provided car triage screening for the virus, June 15.
