Navy SG Recognizes Walter Reed, NMRTC Bethesda for Health Promotion

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, BETHESDA, MD — The Surgeon General of the U.S. Navy, Rear Adm. Darin K. Via, recently recognized Walter Reed and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Bethesda as a 2024 Navy Surgeon General’s (SG) Blue H Gold Star Award Winner for Health Promotion and Wellness, earning the Blue H flag and ribbon.

Munson Army Health Center will begin its annual seasonal influenza vaccine campaign with four walk-in dates at the Frontier Conference Center on Fort Leavenworth for TRICARE beneficiaries aged 6 months and older. All TRICARE categories, including TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Select, and TRICARE For Life may receive their vaccines at the walk-in events at the FCC. Beneficiaries aged 10 years and up must present their Department of Defense identification card. Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
