NICoE celebrates its 15-year anniversary

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, BETHESDA, MD — 2025 marks 15 years since the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) opened its doors and began transforming the lives of service members impacted by traumatic brain injury (TBI). Since the first patient was seen on Oct. 4, 2010, NICoE has led the Military Health System in advancing care, research and education for TBI and associated conditions.

Your TRICARE Pharmacy Program Benefit: Creating a Patient-Centered Military Pharmacy Experience

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — Have you recently filled a prescription at a military pharmacy? If so, you may know that military pharmacies have different procedures than civilian pharmacies. When a provider issues a new prescription to a military pharmacy, you need to activate the prescription before a pharmacist fills it. Recently, the Defense Health Agency has developed and updated two tools—Q-Anywhere and ScriptCenters—to make this prescription pickup process easier and more convenient.

Dunn Dental Clinic Reaches Construction Milestone With Topping Out Ceremony

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND,Texas — The 59th Medical Wing celebrated a major milestone in the construction of the new Dunn Dental Clinic with a topping-out ceremony July 16 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. The $88 million facility will enhance dental care and training for Airmen, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, expanded capacity, and improved patient flow.
