BETHESDA, Md. — Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) salutes its heroes and their families every day by providing them with presidential care but each year, on March 25, a special group of heroes is recognized – those who have earned the nation’s highest military decoration, the Medal of Honor (MoH).

The Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center, part of the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, provides care for Veterans across the region and continues to partner with Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center to help expand access to care, enhance training opportunities, and improve care coordination between the two systems.

CRDAMC dietitian supports parents with nutrition before and after pregnancy

FORT HOOD, Texas — Capt. Aisha Perez launched a temporary walk-in nutrition clinic at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center to support expecting and postpartum parents. In less than three weeks, the clinic helped more than 60 patients and highlighted the growing need for accessible nutrition services. Through personalized counseling, patients gained confidence and learned practical ways to improve their health before and after pregnancy.

The event has long served as an opportunity for families across the island, providing invaluable education, support, and a welcoming sense of community for families attending.
