Soldiers Bring Holiday Cheer to Children at Tripler Army Medical Center Through Toy Donations

The Medical Readiness Battalion, Hawaii (MRB-H) brought holiday cheer to children at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) by donating toys on Dec. 12, 2025. Approximately 40 to 50 Soldiers participated in a toy drive, including road guards, drivers, and medics, who collectively donated an estimated 300 toys.

Due to the 1ID's block leave period, pharmacy operations at Farrelly Health Clinic will temporarily consolidate staff to the IACH Main Pharmacy. As a result, the Farrelly Health Clinic pharmacy will be closed from Dec. 22, 2025 through Jan. 2, 2026, and will reopen on Jan. 5, 2026.

Winn staff strengthens trauma readiness through rural simulation

FORT STEWART, Ga. — Medical personnel from Winn Army Community Hospital and Soldiers from across the 3rd Infantry Division enhanced their trauma care proficiency last week during the Rural Interactive Trauma Simulation Course, a hands-on training event designed to reinforce life-saving skills essential to battlefield medicine. The course, now in its pilot year, is facilitated by the Medical College of Georgia. The program exposes military medical providers to realistic trauma scenarios, particularly those common in remote or resource-limited environments. Lisa Tyler, nurse educator at Winn Army Community Hospital, said the training directly supports the hospital’s mission of preparing clinicians and warfighters for real-world emergencies.
