Army offers Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations to adolescents

SEMBACH, Germany — Regional Health Command Europe is making steady progress in its efforts to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to the military community in Europe’s adolescent population, aged 12-17.

Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center pharmacists work collaboratively with patients and other health care providers and impact patient safety by preventing medication errors, drug interactions, and other adverse medication events, Fort Meade, Maryland, Oct. 15, 2020. This year's observation of National Pharmacy Week (Oct. 18-24) will be different from previous years due to the coronavirus pandemic. The commemoration acknowledges the invaluable contributions that pharmacists and technicians make to patient care. The pandemic changed how Kimbrough provides Pharmacy services to beneficiaries through the implementation of curbside pharmacy services. Patients at Kimbrough are able to fill prescriptions at two locations on Fort Meade: The Main Pharmacy, located within the Kimbrough facility, and the PX Refill Pharmacy, located in the Main PX.

Medical Soldiers provide frontline COVID defense for Europe

SEMBACH, Germany — For the past several weeks Soldiers from Regional Health Command Europe, Army Medical Activity Bavaria, Public Health Command Europe, Dental Health Command Europe and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center have been ensuring the safety and well-being of U.S. forces by conducting and processing COVID tests on newly arrived service members into the European theater.

Col. Rodney Coldren is the Regional Health Command Europe and U.S. Army Europe and Africa Public Health Emergency Officer. Coldren has been the defacto face of Regional Health Command Europe on all things COVID-19. Coldren is is also the director of Human Health Services for Public Health Command Europe.
