MCAS Cherry Point  –   Ms. Claudia Houston of the New Bern Historical
Society describes the discovery of
African-American veteran's burials and their history in New Bern.

Titled "History of Our Veterans Buried at the Greenwood Cemetery,"
Houston's presentation, part of the clinic's celebration of Black
History Month, described the life and service of some of the
African-American veterans buried at the cemetery and efforts to
restore their headstones.
