Communications professionals across the Military Health System had a standout year, taking home 23 awards in 17 different categories at the 2024 Defense Media Merit Awards–the highest number of awards won by any participating agency. Tripler Army Medical Center Daisy Award

Congratulations to 1st Lt. Helen Aldridge, Tripler Army Medical Center's most recent Daisy Award recipient! Aldridge, a pediatric nurse, was nominated for the award by the mother of a patient who was diagnosed with cancer. She wrote that "Nurse Helen" showed an incredible amount of compassion to the patient and her family. Col. Rosemary Baugh, TAMC's chief nursing officer, presented the award on April 14.

The reins of leadership changed hands as Lt. Col. Jamie Culbreath received the unit guidon from outgoing commander, Capt. Alexander Deatherage and handed them to Capt. Reymoi R. Jno-Lewis.
