Your safety, your comfort, your choice: Requesting chaperones at military hospitals and clinics

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — When you get care at a military hospital or clinic, your safety, comfort, and privacy are top priorities. The Defense Health Agency recently published its chaperone policy across all military hospitals and clinics worldwide. You can request a chaperone for any physical exam or medical or dental visit. Your provider may also request a chaperone for these appointments.

Travis Airman earns officer commission after eight attempts

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif — After eight persistent attempts, a former enlisted airman from the 60th Medical Group has earned his commission, proving that perseverance and dedication can overcome any obstacle. 2nd Lt. Chavis Kendrick was recently commissioned through the Officer Training School after being selected for the line officer program.

Operation AGILE Medic, a week-long exercise at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas, was a Tri-Service medical training exercise that immersed military medics in the seamless process of transporting patients from the Expeditionary Medical Support unit to the En Route Patient Staging System team, and further to Air Evacuation and Critical Care Air Transport Teams, and vice versa.
