Winn leaders, ABA experts join forces to improve access to care for autistic military children

Leaders from Winn Army Community Hospital, behavioral therapists and Humana TRICARE representatives joined forces March 31 to improve access to care for military families coping with autism. The 23 Applied Behavior Analysis professionals who attended were from network mental health care providers across coastal Georgia. Gathered with them in Winn’s Patriot Auditorium were the hospital’s primary care, pediatric, mental health and Exceptional Family Member Program leads.

Winn, Spartan Brigade double down on readiness with TMC pharmacy ribbon-cutting

A crucial node of patient care for Spartan Soldiers is once again open for business at Marne Medic Troop Medical Clinic on Fort Stewart. Leaders and Soldiers from 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team and Winn Army Community Hospital gathered April 2 to cut the ribbon at the clinic’s pharmacy. It is the first time in three years the pharmacy has been in operation.

Tripler Army Medical Center marks special occasion for 8th Theater Sustainment Command with milestone baby

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Yeni A. Conquest, a mortuary affairs non-commissioned officer with 8th Theater Sustainment Command (8th TSC), and U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Blake A. Conquest, an aviation electronics technician with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24, were honored as the proud parents of the eighth baby born to 8th TSC this year during a special recognition event at the Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), April 3.
