Dunn Dental Clinic Reaches Construction Milestone With Topping Out Ceremony

The 59th Medical Wing celebrated a major milestone in the construction of the new Dunn Dental Clinic with a topping-out ceremony July 16 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. The $88 million facility will enhance dental care and training for Airmen, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, expanded capacity, and improved patient flow.

MHS GENESIS UPDATE

As Madigan undergoes a refresh of the MHS GENESIS electronic health record, our patients should expect the following things to occur: - From 9 pm 18 Jul until 6 am 19 Jul 2025 patients can expect longer than normal wait times for the Emergency Department. - On 19 July the Madigan appointment line (Puget Sound Integrated Referral and Appointing Center) will not be booking any new appointments until the changes conclude and are validated. Look for the return to full service the morning of 20 July 2025. - Patients should plan for longer wait times at the Outpatient Pharmacy, Lab and Radiology as they adjust to the changes. - Madigan will have a small reduction in available appointments in Primary Care on 21 July 2025 as clinics adapt to the changes. Full access to care is back in place beginning on 22 July 2025. - Please Note: To avoid extended waits in the Madigan Emergency Department and ensure continuity of care with your primary care provider, we advise you to book appointments for non-emergency care during this period. We are working to minimize disruptions and appreciate your understanding as we enhance our electronic health record system to better serve you.
