Medical training exercise enhances skills, fosters collaboration

Evans Army Community Hospital hosted a comprehensive cadaver training exercise Jan. 29-30, 2025, to enhance the skills of medical professionals in a realistic and immersive environment. The training brought together more than 230 medical professionals from across the Colorado Military Health System and focused on training in 31 Individual Critical Tasks, or ICTs.

Evans earns top marks in national safety assessment

Evans Army Community Hospital received the highest score amongst all military healthcare facilities in the Leapfrog Group’s fall 2024 assessment released Nov. 15, 2024. The Leapfrog Group is a national, independent organization that focuses on healthcare quality. Leapfrog evaluates hospital safety measures such as errors, injuries, and infections. Their grading system uses more than 30 national performance indicators.

Military family member on a journey to better health

Robin Campbell is on a journey – a life-long journey to be the healthiest version of herself. She is currently a fitness instructor at a local gym, but three years ago she was looking for a path to better health and fitness. That road to wellness included a stop at Evans Army Community Hospital’s Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, where she underwent bariatric surgery which has helped her lose more than 100 pounds.

Marine Corps Air Station New River has a brand new, state-of-the-art medical and dental facility for Marines and Sailors attached to 2nd Marine Air Wing. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune celebrated the opening of the new Marine Centered Medical Home (MCMH) New River with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26, 2024.

Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center is proud to announce the results of our recent TRICARE Inpatient Satisfaction (TRISS) Surveys

The TRISS evaluation system refers to a set of surveys designed to assess patient satisfaction with inpatient care received through the TRICARE Health Program. The surveys measure beneficiaries’ inpatient satisfaction, compared with 14 other Military Medical Centers being surveyed this quarter.
