NMCCL graduates and commissions six physician assistants

CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune graduated the second class of physician assistant students on March 3, 2023. “Class 20-3” passed the second phase of the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, received their diplomas, and commissioned as Navy officers.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s patient shuttle service, which transports patients from the parking lot and Medical Center, recently expanded services to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina — Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune is seeking new members to facilitate change for beneficiaries through the new Patient and Family Partnership Council.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune welcomed its first baby of the new year at 10:15 a.m. on January 2, 2023. Rowan Joseph Acevedo Kouris was welcomed into the world by his proud parents, Sergeant James Kouris and Trisha Acevedo. Sgt. Kouris is a United States Marine stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point; Rowan's mother shared she was also born at the medical center.

Teaching certificates were presented by the Uniformed Services University on August 17, 2022 to Commander Dink Jardine, Commander Dan Hwang, and Commander Andy Kung.
