Navy Care virtual visits: Real-time access to care, from anywhere

Navy Care offers an innovative way for patients to see the doctor and maintain medical readiness, without actually visiting the hospital or clinic. Navy Care enables patients to have a live, virtual visit with a clinician, using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Patients can use it from work, home, or anywhere that offers privacy. It’s private, secure, and free. Most importantly, it decreases time away from the mission, work, and family.

Naval Hospital Jacksonville physician selected as delegate to American Medical Association’s Young Physicians Section

The American Academy of Family Physicians has selected Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Bernstein, Naval Branch Health Clinic Mayport’s senior medical officer, to be its next delegate to the American Medical Association’s Young Physicians Section. AMA’s Young Physicians Section represents physicians who are under 40 years of age, or who are in their first eight years of professional practice.
