It’s National Pharmacy Week!

Naval Hospital Bremerton readily acknowledges our pharmacists and technicians for their unsung efforts in providing crucial behind-the-scenes support for patients in procuring their prescribed medications. Dr. Britt C. Bayles, a seasoned Navy veteran and pharmacist at Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH) joined the Navy in 1975. Forty five years later, he’s stuck around with one promise to his wife: “We will stay only as long as we are having fun.”

National Pharmacy Week: Pharmacy Strong

As the coronavirus continues to impact health care operations, staff members at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center (KACC) are observing National Pharmacy Week (Oct. 18-24) in a different way this year. The recognition, commemorated annually on the third full week in October, acknowledges the invaluable contributions that pharmacists and technicians make to patient care in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and other healthcare settings.
