From left to right: Hospital Corpsman Second Class Vanessa Schofield earned an Associate of Applied Science in Health Sciences from American Military University. Schofield serves in the clinic’s Staff Education and Training Department. Hospital Corpsman Second Class Jazmin Yaudes graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Purdue University Global. Yaudes serves in the clinic’s Preventive Medicine Department. Hospital Corpsman Third Class Eleanor Garza received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from American Military University. Garza serves in the clinic’s Laboratory. Hospital Corpsman Second Class Katelyn Barros graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Management from American Military University. Barros serves in the clinic’s Patient Centered Medical Home. Hospital Corpsman Second Class Holly Bew completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Sciences from American Military University. Bew serves in the clinic’s Directorate for Administration.

Cherry Point Clinic Celebrates Sailors’ Academic Achievements

Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point bid Fair Winds and Following Seas to Hospital Corpsman Ed DeLeon during a ceremony held Thursday, June 5. DeLeon received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his service aboard the clinic in the Materials Management and Pharmacy Departments, having processed over 14,000 prescriptions and assisting in the establishment of two Script Centers aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. DeLeon also received the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for contributing volunteer ours to the Carteret County Animal Shelter, the Carteret History Museum and the MCAS Cherry Point Single Marine Program.

Change of Command Reinforces Readiness Mission at Tuttle Army Health Clinic

HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, Ga. — Lt. Col. Lucas Groves assumed command of Tuttle Army Health Clinic from Lt. Col. Rebecca Sinclair during a ceremony June 5 at Truscott Air Terminal, emphasizing the clinic’s pivotal role in sustaining medical readiness across one of the Army’s most operationally active regions. “Tuttle Army Health Clinic is a readiness engine, a care hub, and a trusted partner,” said Col. Margaret Berryman, commander of Winn Army Community Hospital. “The team here supports some of the most elite warfighter units in the U.S. military, including the Dog Face Soldiers of the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, the 1/75 Ranger Battalion, the 160th SOAR, the 224th MI Battalion, and joint forces throughout the Savannah area.”
