The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

ADVISORY | Reduced operations during JBSA exercise

By 59th Medical Wing Public Affairs

To fully participate in a Joint Base San Antonio exercise, the 59th Medical Wing will operate at reduced capacity during the following dates and times:
 
  • Reduced Operations on March 25th until 1:00 p.m. at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (JBSA-Lackland) 
  • Reduced Operations on March 27th until 1:00 p.m. at Randolph Clinic (JBSA-Randolph)
Please note, Pharmacy and Laboratory Services will be unavailable at both locations until 1:00 p.m. on their respective training days. 

This JBSA exercise will take the place of our regularly scheduled Wednesday morning training hours; therefore, on Wed. March 26th, clinics will open at their normal times.

As always, the Wilford Hall Emergency Department will remain open 24/7 during this exercise.
