Honoring National Forensic Nurse's Week

By Khinna Kaminske

As part of National Forensic Nurse's Week, we are recognizing our Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Examiners for their amazing work supporting patients who report of being victims of domestic violence, strangulation, sexual assault, and abuse.
Today we recognize Maj. Lucy C. McNamee, CNS for OBGYN:

"I volunteer to be part of the forensic program at TAMC, because it provides a chance to be present and serve people facing painful and emotional circumstances. It is always a privledge to walk with people through the most challenging situations and perhaps provide a small amount of comfort whether through providing exactly the medical care they need or through helping them feel seen and heard. Our team strives to provide compassion, non-judgemental support, and expert assessment skills for those we serve. I am proud to be a part of this interdisciplinary group."
