The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point Bids Farewell to Retiring Officer

MCAS Cherry Point  –   Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point staff gathered Friday, July 2 to bid farewell to an officer with over three decades of service in the U.S. Navy.

In recognition for her service to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, the U.S. Navy and the Nation, she received a flag flown over the clinic in a small ceremony attended by her staff and supervisors. Corson served at the clinic as the Director for Healthcare Business, overseeing many administrative tasks and initiatives.
