FORT RILEY, Kansas  –   Irwin Army Community Hospital reminds our patients and visitors that after-hours access to the facility remains consolidated to the Emergency Department entrance.
Since February 2025, the patient entrance has closed daily at 5 p.m. to ensure safety and efficiency with limited staffing. Patients and visitors arriving after this time must:

1. Enter through the Emergency Department entrance.
2. Present a state-issued photo ID to the security officer.
3. Receive an after-hours visitor badge before proceeding into the facility.

If you have an appointment scheduled after 5 p.m., please plan to arrive early to allow time for this step. Your cooperation supports a safe environment for all who receive and deliver care at IACH.
