(July 24, 2024) --GREAT NEWS!

The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) is proud to announce the results of our recent TRICARE Inpatient Satisfaction (TRISS) Surveys.

The TRISS evaluation system refers to a set of surveys designed to assess patient satisfaction with inpatient care received through the TRICARE Health Program.

The surveys measure beneficiaries’ inpatient satisfaction, compared with 14 other Military Medical Centers being surveyed this quarter.

As a result, our patients have ranked us in the top three among all 14 Medical Centers in the categories of “Overall Hospital Rating”, “Recommended Hospital”, and “Communication with Nurses”!

Within the service lines:
  • ATAMMC is ranked #1 for Obstetrics in three categories: “Overall Hospital Rating” and “Recommend Hospital”, and "Staff Responsiveness".
  • ATAMMC’s Surgical Services also earned the #1 ranking in the categories of “Overall Hospital Rating”, “Recommended Hospital”, and “Communication with Nurses”.
  • ATAMMC’s Medical Services line achieved a number #1 ranking for “Recommended Hospital”.

The insights gathered from the survey are valuable for internal quality enhancement efforts, assessing the effects of operational changes, and providing feedback to both providers and patients.

Comparing this data to previous survey results and civilian benchmark data will help gauge the Department of Defense's progress in achieving its objectives of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Thank you for placing your trust in us to care for both you and your family.
