GEN James Mingus Tours In-patient Surgical Departments at Weed Army Community Hospital

General James Mingus, 39th Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, recently toured Weed Army Community Hospital at Fort Irwin, Ca. This visit was designed to provide a look at hospital capabilities, current service to the community, and the essential support of the NTC's training mission.

During the tour, GEN Mingus was introduced to various in-patient departments, where staff highlighted current capabilities and potential capacity for treatments with additional resources. Before departing, the general stopped at the Scriptcenter kiosk for a demonstration on the technology.
