HONOLULU, Hawaii  –   Personnel from Tripler Army Medical Center and the Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic will participate in a mass casualty exercise on July 10.

Patient care will not be affected by the exercise. Visitors and patients at both TAMC, located in Honolulu, and the DDHC, located on Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa, may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and unusual activity at both locations. A helicopter will also land at TAMC during the exercise. Local residents may see and hear the aircraft arrive and take off.

TAMC and DDHC participate in mass casualty exercises annually, giving personnel an opportunity to test emergency operations plans and practice for potential real-world events.
