Clinic Delayed Opening and Outages

Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River:

Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River and Branch Health Clinic Dahlgren will open for patient care at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Staff should report for work at 9:30 a.m.

Branch Health Clinic Indian Head will follow the guidance of the local Officer in Charge and our Navy detachment at Malcolm Grow Medical Center will follow Joint Base Andrews.

Pharmacy:

Attention Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River pharmacy customers: Due to recent power outages, the pharmacy network is down and we can only dispense ready medications at this time. If you received a call or text message indicating that your prescription is ready for pickup, then we will be happy to provide it to you. All other services, including verifying and processing new prescriptions, are unavailable until our network access is restored.

Our phones are also down due to a generator outage. We anticipate phone service being restored within a few hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to fix these issues as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Indian Head:

Indian Head remains closed due to power outages on the base.   There is no estimate on when power will be restored.
