The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

NHCL Nurse Receives DAISY Award

LEMOORE, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2020) Pamela Brosius a nurse assigned to the Mental Health Clinic at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore (NHCL) was awarded the clinic's 2020 DAISY Award. The DAISY Award was established by The DAISY Foundation in 1999 by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, a patient who lost his life to an auto-immune disease ITP. Barnes' family wanted to recognized the care that Patrick received before his death, they created the award to honor the skillful and compassionate care nurses provide patients every day.
